The Hubei Provincial Committee of the Organization Department of the CPC proved on August 15 that Zhao Yunlei was recently elected to become a representative for the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the 26-year-old girl became the youngest representative of the 18th CPC Congress Party from Hubei province.

　　In the 30th Summer Olympic Games held in London, Zhao became a winner of double medals of badminton.

　　She was born in 1986, and she joined the party in June of 2009. After the London Olympic Games, she became the youngest and the sole athlete representative among the 62 CPC Congress Representatives from Hubei Province.

　　Zhao said she was much honored to become a representative of the18th CPC Congress and she will do some preparation for the congress.
