According to the statistics from the Price Monitoring Center of Yichang Municipal Price Bureau, the prices of grain and oil, eggs and some aquatic products remained stable in mid-August. The prices of daily necessities, especially vegetables, pork and bugas experienced slight rise. The mild increase of bugas price mainly resulted from the increase in the refined oil price. The prices of steel products and cement continued falling while the price of urea moderately slid.
