On September 6, the municipal commendation meeting for the achievements made by the two Yichang girls, in the 30th Olympic Games as well as the contribution made by the coaches of their training in Yichang was hold by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government in Xiazhou Hotel. ZhaoYunlei, the winner of double gold medals, with her former coach and school and Zhoujun, the other Olympic contestant were rewarded.

　　At the meeting, Wang Xingyu, the Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, issued ZhaoYunlei and Zhou Jun the honorary certificates of “Outstanding Contribution to Yichang Olympic Competition” and “Yichang May 4th Youth Medal” respectively and Chen Jiyong, who firstly coached and recommended ZhaoYunlei with the honorary certificate of “the Meritorious Coach in Yichang” and granted the Bureau of Physical Cultural Administration and Municipal Sports School the medals of “Outstanding Contribution Unit to Yichang in the 30th Olympic Games”. Yichang Municipal Government rewarded ZhaoYunlei 600,000 yuan, Chen Jiyong and the Municipal Sports School 200,000 yuan respectively.
