Reporter yesterday learned from the Three Gorges Navigation Administration Bureau that the first multi-functional oil spill recovery vessel “Three Gorges Green One” in the Yangtze River had passed the sailing test. It will be delivered to the area of the Three Gorges Dam and put into use at the Xianren Bridge, about 10km away from the Three Gorges Dam at the end of September. The ship, a new kind of vessel for an integration processing of waste oil recycling and storage, will be the first of its kind on the inland professional antifouling recovery.

　　“Three Gorges Green One”, with a total investment of 19.1 million yuan, is a multi-functional ship of oil spill recovery and do an integration processing of waste oil recycling and storage which changes the situation of using tanker with receiving machine to dispose the oil spill. The usage of this ship will greatly enhance the oil spill response and pollution prevention in the Three Gorges Dam areas.
