It is acknowledged on October 17 that the import and export enterprises involving customs clearance will enjoy more privilege by canceling three kinds of clearance fees from this month and the application of the custom clearance mode “Local Declaration & Port Clearance” will be extended to more scopes gradually.

　　According to the stipulations by the General Administration of Customs and Wuhan Customs, charges for Declaration Dorm Barcode, services of printing Certification Pages of the Customs Declaration Forms and Customs Declaration Form for Export Tax Refund and Customs Supervision Service have been cancelled in Yichang, and the ATA Carnet processing charges and the goods and luggage disposition service charges will also be cancelled in the future. Besides A-class enterprises, custom clearance mode is to be extended to those B-class enterprises which are creditable without any records of smuggling and violations. The Customs will simplify the procedures of processing trade disposition, duty reduction or exemption approval and tax payment.

　　Yu Hongchuan, the principal of Yichang Customs said, this year, the foreign trade of Yichang has been influenced by the overall situation which slowed down the increase speed of the import and export business. Under the circumstance, Yichang Customs has implemented all sorts of policies, providing the enterprises with visiting service and helping them develop foreign business. From January to September, they have exempted in total about USD 3.2 million of tariffs and import-related taxes.

　　575 enterprises will benefit from the relevant preferential policies carried out from this month. Yichang customs will adopt a variety of measures to promote the development of foreign trade, such as offering support to the enterprises in setting up export supervised warehouse and supporting the Three Gorges airport to develop the business of freight service through scheduled inbound and outbound flights and so on.
