It was learnt that all vehicles for construction waste delivery in urban area must be equipped with GPS device from January 1st, 2013; and any construction project that fails to meet the requirements will be banned. Exactly, the heavy trucks should be equipped with uniform top lights, signs, GPS devices and totally-enclosed loading and conveying devices. The other types of freight vehicles should also be equipped with the related devices as regulated and overloading (exceeding the height limit over the side boards) is prohibited. Besides, all the vehicles for freight and waste conveyance should abide by the relevant prohibitions and regulations of passing through or horning in the urban area, and should apply for the temporary visiting pass from the traffic police department in case of necessity.
The transitional period will last till December 31, 2012, during which overloading and exceeding of height limit over the side boards will be prohibited and the truck boxes should be covered with oilcloth for enclosure. From the first day of next year on, any vehicle that does not fulfill the regulations will not be allowed for delivery of construction waste and bulk materials.
