On the morning of November 28, the staff of Yichang Museum conducted an archaeological excavation of the ancient tombs found in Dianjun District recently, and has confirmed that one of them is a brick tomb. They will unearth another two cemeteries. The excavated tomb built of grey bricks is about 1m wide and 3m long, in which there is a broken gravestone and many other pottery items including terrine, potter, porcelain bowl etc. Experts have concluded that they were all made in Ming Dynasty through field research. It is a brick tomb of a Ming Dynasty civilian.
