On December 17, Yichang Three Gorges Airport added direct flights to Haikou City. From then on, instead of transferring flights in Wuhan, citizens in Yichang can take non-stop flights to Hainan Province. Equipped with the aircraft type E190 with 106 seats, the Yichang-Haikou route is operated by Tianjin Airlines with scheduled flight on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The air ticket will be available in two days with full price RMB 1250 （not including fuel taxes and infrastructure fee）， and passengers can take it at around half price RMB 630 yuan（not including fuel taxes and infrastructure fee）。
