“The Bawang Village Scenic Spot with an investment of RMB 80 million is set to open on May first next year while construction of other tourist attractions, such as the Sanxia Old Streets, will also be completed by the end of next year…” It was learned yesterday from Three Gorges Huanba Tourism Development Group that during the period of the 12th 5-year Plan about RMB 3.2 billion will be invested to build a 5A scenic spot with Three Gorges Tribe as its core scenic attraction, which will eventually be transformed into a top-class tourist destination in the world. According to the introduction, efforts will be made to develop folklore tourism featured by demonstration of aboriginal and ecological custom with real settings in extension of the Three Gorges Tribe as a typical folk custom scenic site, as will be integrated with other scenic sites whose opening is due next year, including Sanxia Old Streets and Bawang Village Scenic Spot.

　　It is also acknowledged that the Three-Gorges Tribe Cultural Tourism Development Corporation is planning to be among the domestic small and medium-sized boards of listed companies within two years, for the purpose of facilitating the construction of the Three-Gorges Tribe by means of financing, which will perfectly display its unique charm to the world.
