It was learned by the reporter yesterday that 9 students from Yichang won Gold Medals (28 persons in Hubei Province) in the 2012 National Olympiad in Informatics in Provinces (NOIP2012), among whom seven were lucky to be admitted to the national key universities on recommendation.

　　They are Song Haolun, Yan Junwen, Luo Yi, Wang Yuren, and Zhang Senhui from No.1 Senior High School and Li Angnuo, Liu Chenqian, Peng Jinzhe and Xia Zhiyun all from Yiling Senior Middle School. Among them, Wang Yuren and Zhang Senhui are in grade 2, and the other seven are high school graduates.

　　It is learned that great changes have taken place on the policy of the College Entrance Examination that the awarded students in NOIP will not be recommended for admission to universities since 2014, but these 7 high school graduates still can be admitted to the national key universities on recommendation and the 2 students in grade 2 can be enrolled autonomously by the national key universities.
