The Flowers and Seedlings industry will meet its first grand meeting. According to a  press conference held by Dianjun District Government on March 26 that “the First Yichang Flowers and Seedlings Festival” will take place from April 26th to 28th, at Gaonong Company of Qiaobian Town of Dianjun District, during which the flower growers in Yichang will get straight down to business with enterprises from inside and outside Hubei Province. “Business and trade” as the highlight of the event will pay much attention to and the area of comprehensive exhibition including both indoor section and outdoor one amounts to 100 thousand square meters, of which about 200 standard booths with a planned area of 20 thousand square meters will be offered for free. With hope that by doing so; a communication platform can be built among flower farmers, cooperatives, associations’concerned and related enterprises. Up to now, 20 enterprises from inside and outside Hubei Province have enrolled to attend the fare. Besides, citizens can access the festival for free of charge while strolling around the exhibition and making purchases.  

　　Since 2013, Dianjun District Government has attached great importance to the Flowers and Seedlings industry. It is estimated that from April to June, the First Yichang Flowers and Seedlings Festival and the Fifth Yichang World-famous Flowers Exhibition, as well as, the key project the Comprehensive Trade Center for Plants and Flowers to be constructed in the third quarter of this year will surely promote Dianjun District to a core area, and major distributing center of this industry in Yichang, and build Dianjun District into another window for people from the outsider to understand Yichang City.
