On April 17th, it was acknowledged by the Yichang Urban Development Investment Corporations that the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system construction and two minor projects of reconstruction of the Dongshan Avenue and construction of the 4th Dongshan Road, will be launched in November with an investment of over 520 million US dollars and the project will be finished in 2016.

　　The project of BRT construction and the Dongshan Avenue reconstruction begins at the Coach Station of Yiling District in the west and ends at the Yichangdong Railway Station, with a length of round 24km, and in total over 210 million US dollars was invested for the whole project.

　　The other minor urban construction project, the 4th Dongshan Road reconstruction project will link the Fazhan Avenue and the Xianfeng Road with a new 23.4-kilometer road. The total investment reaches round 310 million US dollars.
