It is critical stage for Yidu County under Yichang City to strive for the title of “China Top 100” which are most economically developed among the counties of China. On May 9, Huang Chuping, a member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, and Ma Xuming, Mayor of Yichang Municipal Government visited and inspected in Yidu County together with officials from some direct subordinate departments, and hosted a special session on instructions of supporting Yidu County to rank in the top 100 counties. Some other leaders from municipal party committee and government, including Song Wenbao and Ma Xuejun attended the meeting.

　　Zhuang Guangming, secretary of party committee of Yidu County, gave a report on this year’s economic development situation and the measures they have taken and the problems they are facing in striving for ranking among the counties deserving the title of “China Top 100”.

　　Speaking highly of the work of the county party committee and government and the efforts made by the related municipal departments to support Yidu County, Huang Chuping pointed out that winning the title of “China Top 100” of Yidu County is a significant task for party committees and governments of the county, the municipality and the province and it is also a great opportunity for the leapfrog development of Yidu County, through which Yidu County should set a good example for the other 12 counties and districts of Yidu City in transformation of Yichang into a megacity, constantly focusing the future work on increase of economic aggregate, per capita GDP, and the speed, quality and vitality of development.

Ma Xuming in his speech claimed that the municipal party committee and government will spare no efforts to support the further development of Yidu in pursuing the title of “China Top 100”, and the municipal subordinate departments should strongly support the development of Yidu in the aspects of major projects, industrial development and technological innovation, etc., and all the departments of the county party committee and government should further free the minds and seize the opportunity to achieve the goal of Yidu’s ranking in the top 100 economically developed counties of China.
