The Information Office of Yichang Government held a news conference on May, 23. It is known from the conference that Yichang will hold The 20th Shanghai International Tea Culture Tourism Festival and The Third China Three Gorges Tea Culture Art Festival from June, 6th to June, 8th. Shanghai and Yichang will promote tea culture and introduce tea enterprises through “The Double Festivals”. “The Double Festivals” were sponsored by Yichang Government and Shanghai International Tea Culture Tourism Committee and were hosted by the Government of Yiling District and Yichang Agriculture Bureau. The theme of the Double Festivals was “Tasting Three Gorges Tea, Enjoying Happy Life”, focusing on tea culture communication, tea products display and economy and trade cooperation. It will develop seven main activities within only three days: an opening ceremony, a “tea drinking” competition, an economy and trade fair, a Chuhong experts review meeting, a tea culture art performance and a closing ceremony.

It is just a tree leaf if the tea leaf without culture, so this activity plays a big part in developing tea culture. There are 20 mainstream media and websites participating in the whole activity, such as People’s Daily, the Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, etc..
