Yesterday, the reporter learned from Yichang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau that the Municipal Government approves of maintaining the implementation of the original medical insurance liquidation standard for the city retirees for one year, i.e. the total amount of 10 years’ medical insurance is 28,667 yuan.

The medical insurance liquidation standard for retirees is based on the city\'s urban average annual medical insurance for enterprises’ retirees in the previous year, calculated according to the calendar year with an increase of 10% annually. However, since 2009 the city has been implementing the medical insurance liquidation standard, the total amount of 10 years’ medical insurance is 28,667 yuan, formulated in 2009 in urban area in order to reduce the burden on the enterprises and workers. The closed, transformed and bankrupted enterprises’ retirees and flexible employment retirees in the city proper will enjoys the policy for the fifth year in succession.

　　·Retiree health insurance liquidation standard , based on the city\'s urban average annual health insurance premiums for retirees from enterprises as the base, according to the natural annual basis , an annual 10% increments.

　　·However, to reduce the burden on enterprises and workers since 2009 , the city\'s urban area has been implementing the 2009 Medicare liquidation standard, that is a one-time settlement of 28,667 yuan Medicare decade .

　　·City "Off to change broken" businesses and flexible employment of retirees will be the fifth consecutive year to enjoy the farmer-friendly policy .

It is estimated that the one-time liquidation standard of 10-year medical insurance for the city retirees is 44,375 yuan in 2013. By maintaining the original standard, the liquidation expenses will reduce by 35%, 15,708 yuan. It is expected to alleviate the burden of 35.81 million yuan on enterprises’ retirees and flexible employment retirees this year.

Flexible employment retirees who have participated in the basic medical insurance and accomplished the retirement pension approval procedures in the city area may hold “The Approval Form for Corporate Retirement Conditions of Hubei Province", " Employee Medical Insurance Card " or "Social Insurance Card " and conduct relevant procedures at Window 16, the second floor (East Hall) of the Service Building of Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
