Yichang Guangdong Chamber of Commerce was established on May, 18. Li Zhijin, Vice-minister of the Front Work Department of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, attended the ceremony. And Lin Mingzhou, President of Haishanghuanggong Entertainment Center was elected the chairman.

Lin said after the establishment of Chamber of Commerce，we will focus on communication between government and enterprises, investigation in enterprises management, moral and laws education, harmonious development between member companies and social economy, initiation of welfare service and other works. This will enhance Guangdong companies’ competitiveness and promote to build Yichang into a modern megacity.

According to statistics, at present in Yichang there are more than 120 Guangdong companies, involving building materials processing, machine manufacturing, catering services, printing, electronic communication, commercial circulation, real estate development and so on, and there are some important big companies here, such as East Sunshine and Nan Bo Group. Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Yichang is the home of the Guangdong entrepreneurs, which will widely unite Guangdong merchants, promote further exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong Province and Yichang, and push forward the Yichang’s economic development.
