College students, who graduate in 2013, can file their applications for the government-funded program of starting a business, said officials in the Yichang Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League on Tuesday. And free assistance,given by government with subsidies from 20 thousand to 200 thousand RMB, is available to college graduates, so long as they choose to establish their business in Yichang and meet relevant requirements.
It is reported that it is in 2012 that Hubei Provincial Government first carried out the program, which is designed to facilitate graduates starting their own business by offering aid given gratis to them,and 27 applications out of Yichang were granted with a total of 900 thousand RMB. This year, the Provincial Government plan to provide 20 million RMB for graduates with entrepreneurship.
According to government notice, the applicants can submit their applications to department concerned twice this year: the time for application in the first half of the year lasts until June 30, while that in the second half of the year lasts from September 1 to October 30. Any college student fulfills the conditions that graduated within three years with diploma recognized by the government, that has set up his own enterprise or engaged in self-employed business, and whose enterprise or business has gotten registered in accordance to law, and obtained business license from the Administration for Industry and Commerce, are qualified for filing his application. And the panel of experts will distribute free financial aid ranging from 20 thousand to 200 thousand RMB to applicants according to specific projects.
