Yesterday, the reporter was informed that Asian Development Bank (ADB)  formally signed the agreement with National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) and the Ministry of Finance, providing 150 million US dollars’ loan to Yichang for its comprehensive improvement project of urban traffic.

　　The comprehensive improvement project of urban traffic covers such three subprojects as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), the renovation project of Dongshan Avenue, construction of 4th Dongshan Road (the western part) and municipal engineering.

　　It is informed that the project is the biggest foreign-loan project for Yichang at present. It can effectively improve the urban transport efficiency, facilitate citizens’ trip, broaden the framework of the city, and optimize urban road network structure and perfect urban function, which is significant for the construction of the megacity, new urban district and provincial sub-center city.
