It is learnt that Moji Mountain Park, Chengdong Park and Qiuyutai Park will be built and Dongshan Park will be rebuilt within the year. Moji Mountain Park, from the Yiling Yangtze River Bridge in the east to No.12 Middle School in the west, has largest engineering quantities with an area of 120 hectares and total investment of 300 million RMB. Under the premise of keeping the integrity of natural mountains, it is requested to optimize skyline and natural vegetation to build peak parks, viewing platforms and trestles in the air. The first-stage project of east valley is to start in September, and after the construction Moji Mountain will become a comprehensive park with rich ecology landscapes, the Yangtze River on its north and well-equipped viewing facilities.

　　Chengdong Park is located at the ecological new area in Wujiagang District and encircleded by Chengdong Avenue, Zhongnan Road and Dongyun Road, covering a total area of 44 hectares, which takes the integration of greenway and mountain parks as main concept, leisure and sports as the theme and bicycle culture as a carrier to form seven beautiful sceneries.

　　According to the planning, Qiuyutai Park, located at the area of East Station, is to be built as an exhibition window of Yichang with an area of 48 hectares. The Park takes mountain, river and valley as the design theme, and plans to make a “four seasons’ journey” by means of constructing flower steps in entrances, Yuhu Manor, foggy valley full of red autumnal leaves and art gallery in the air.

　　For Dongshan Park, it is planned to complete a series of reconstruction by means of transforming three entrances under the original foundation, combining the project of transferring upstream water from the canal into the lake to achieve the effect of water flowing.

　　It is learnt that Qiuyutai Park is going to be constructed at the end of this year, others start building in September and will be completed at the  end of 2015.

　　Riverside Park is honored as “the best park along the Yangtze River”, and the area from Baisha Road to Linjiangping Section is reserved as the extending of Riverside Park in the Modification of Yichang City Overall Planning from 2011 to 2030. At present, the landscape of Riverside Park is being improved in sections. Wintersweet Garden has been constructed at the site of the removed Dagongqiao Passenger Station this year, and meanwhile the greening of the intersection of Zhongnan Road at Natural Tower Scenic Spot and the greenbelt reconstruction project of Taiping Stream Bridge Pump Station have been improved.

　　It is introduced that the follow-up construction and landscape layout of Riverside Park can fully exhibit Yichang wharf culture, Bachu culture and Three Kingdoms culture. After the completion of  the Park, it will come into integration to show city image, culture and landscape along the river, and also provide leisure places for citizens, and it will become the most idyllic green ribbon of the Yangtze River.
