On the afternoon of August 20, the Information Office of Hubei Provincial Government announced at the press conference at Hongshan Hall, Wuhan that “Three Festivals” approved by the State Council and Hubei Provincial Government will be held from September September 14th to 22nd in Yichang.

　　It is said that “Three Festivals” are the Ninth China International Folk Art Festival cosponsored by CFLAC and Hubei Provincial Government, the Fourth China Three Gorges International Travel Festival cosponsored by National Tourism Administration (NTA) and Hubei Provincial Government and Chongqing Municipal Government, and the Third China Yichang Yangtze River Piano Music Festival sponsored by Hubei Provincial Government.

　　And Three Festivals will consist of five parts with more than twenty activities in all, including cultural-oriented travel, economic and trade activities, meetings and seminars, publicity and marketing, project construction promotion. During China International Folk Art Festival, plenty of arts groups from thirteen countries of five continents in the world will give various performances like songs and dances with rich yet special national flavor in the form of large square arts activities; with respect to China Three Gorges International Travel Festival, artists at home and abroad put on their wonderful programs themed “Love Yichang” to please visitors to Yichang; and five high standard piano concerts concerning solo and concerto will be performed by several world-famous pianists such as Li Yundi during the Third China Yichang Yangtze River Piano Music Festival.
