Recently, the key construction projects of water and soil conservation from 2013 to 2017 were launched in Yichang, and Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County was included in the focus areas of control.

　　It is reported that the total investment of the projects is thirty-five million RMB, including 10 small watersheds’ soil erosion control with a planning area of 106 square kilometers. So far, the preliminary work of the projects has been completed with an investment plan of 6.62 million RMB to improve Yangjiahe and Qingshuiwan small watersheds. (Reported by Guo Lidan)
