Yesterday, Yichang Government issued The Planning of Food, Biology and Medicine Industries Development (2013-2016). According to the Planning, by the end of 2016, the output value of these industries shall reach 170 billion RMB.

　　According to the Planning, by the end of 2016, the output value of these industries will be 170 billion RMB, with annual growth rate of more than 20 percent, among which, the output value of the fruit and vegetable processing industry will be 10 billion RMB; the output value of the tea, aquatic products, animal husbandry products processing industries and soft drink industry will be 10 billion RMB respectively; the output value of the grain and oil processing industry over 20 billion RMB; the output value of the local food processing industry 15 billion RMB; the output value of the wine industry 30 billion RMB; the biology and the output value of the medicine industry over 50 billion RMB. In this period, Yichang will develop 1 enterprise with the output value of 50 billion RMB; 2 enterprises with the output value of 10 billion RMB; 2 or more enterprises with the output value with 5 million RMB; and at least 20 enterprises with the output value of 1 billion RMB. At least 20 products will be entitled as China Famous Brand in the food, biology and medicine industries.

　　Meanwhile, 89 key projects with investment of 24.3 billion RMB in this development planning are to be constructed. Upon the completion, the main business income will increase 55.6 billion RMB. These projects include the projects of big local enterprises such as Yichang Xiaoshi Tea Group Co., Ltd, Hubei Zhijiang Liquor Co., Ltd, Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, and Zhijiang Aomei Medical Supplies Co., Ltd and etc. (Reported by Ye Xiaomei, Tang Zhiyun)
