Yesterday, Provincial Association of Undertakings, Provincial Statistics Bureau and Hubei Daily Media Group issued the list of Hubei Top 100 in 2013, of which Dongfeng Motor Corporation heads the list successively for five years and 11 Yichang enterprises are on the list including Hubei Yihua Group Co., Ltd.
This year, Top 100 enterprises are selected with the standard of 2.830 billion yuan, increasing 26.4 percent than that of last year. Although the operation revenue decreased 4.25 percent last year, Dongfeng Motor Corporation with the scale of 389.421 billion yuan still ranks No. 1 on the list, while Wugang Group with 213.773 billion yuan and China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. with 94.925 billion yuan rank No.2 and No.3 respectively. The top-10 enterprises include Hubei Yihua Group Co., Ltd, Daye Nonferrous Group, Hubei China Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd., China Gezhouba Group Corporation, Wuhan Railway Bureau, China Railway Eleventh Group Co., Ltd. and Sinopec Jingmen Branch.
On the list of Top 100 enterprises, only Dongfeng Motor Group and Wugang Group that get more than 100 billion yuan of operating revenue. And there are 36 enterprises with more than 10 billion yuan, increasing 2 enterprises than last year; 62 with more than 5 billion yuan, increasing 9.
Hubei Top 100 enterprises make great contribution with the total revenue of 1.860 trillion yuan, increasing 9.11 percent than that of last year, the value added created directly is close to 25 percent of gross value of production in the whole province; the total amount of tax is equivalent to 51 percent of financial revenue; the asset of 1.980 trillion yuan accounts for one third of total asset of the secondary industry and the tertiary industry in the whole province.
Among listed enterprises located in Yichang, Hubei Yihua Corporation ranks No.4 with 70.50219 billion yuan, China Gezhouba Group Corporation ranks No. 7 with 54.1639332 billion yuan, China Yangtze River Electric Power Corporation ranks No. 17 with 25.7819212 billion yuan, Xingfang Group ranks No.21 with 19.050518 billion yuan, Hubei Daohuaxiang Group ranks No. 24 with 16.00426 billion yuan, Dongsheng Chemical Industry Corporation ranks No. 37 with 9.28006 billion yuan, Hubei Zhijiang Liquor Co., Ltd. ranks No.39 with 9 billion yuan, Hubei Sanning Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. ranks No. 44 with 7.9197981 billion yuan , Changjiang High-tech Cable Co., Ltd. ranks No. 51 with 5.92458 billion yuan, Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction Co., Ltd. ranks No.59 with 5.1987386 billion yuan and Yidu Dongyangguang Company ranks No.69 with 4.1583 billion yuan.
This year, selected enterprises of Yichang have the gross operating income of 226.984 billion yuan which increases 27.4 percent and accounts for 12.25 percent of Hubei Top 100; total assets 359.911 billion yuan which increases 11.18 percent and accounts for 18.14 percent of Hubei Top 100, only less than Wuhan which ranks No.1 in Hubei.
In addition, the listed enterprises in Yichang reduce one comparing with last year, ranking No.3. In 2013 Hubei Top 100 enterprises, 55 ones are in Wuhan, ranking No. 1 in the province and 12 ones in Huanggang, ranking No.2.
It is said by experts that development quality and benefit of Hubei Top 100 need promotion. Among these enterprises, there are 37 heavy and chemical industries enterprises consuming more energy and resource and less than 20 enterprises with overseas assets. Comparing with China Top 500 Enterprises, their average scale only accounts for 19 percent and the volume as selection standard accounts for 14 percent. Research input accounts for less than 2 percent of the operating revenue, which is far less than national standard of 3 percent and 10-15 percent of the standard of international enterprises. China Top 100 include 63 state-owned and holding companies, 76 manufacturing and construction enterprises and almost no productive service enterprises.
