It was learned from the Traffic Administration on October 23rd that in the next two years, six more first-class highways would be built in Yichang to optimize road network and facilitate people’s travel. At present, the work is promoting orderly.

　　The six first-class highways are: road from Yichang Miaozui Yangtze River Bridge to Qiaobian Town interflow stretch, road from Dongshan to Xiaoxita, the outer ring fast lane in the north of the Yangtze River in Yichang New District, the first-class highway from Pangu Village to Pengzhen Village in Yuan’an County, S216 first-class belt highway in Yidu City and S224 first-class belt highway in Dangyang City. Among which, the first-class highway from Pangu Village to Pengzhen Village in Yuan’an County and the S216 first-class belt highway in Yidu City are planned to be built in the first half of next year and the S224 first-class belt highway in Dangyang City is planned to start its construction before the end of next year.
