The Government of Hubei Province announced the Fourth Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage List which included 7 programs of Yichang City. Up to now, Yichang City has a total of 45 programs selected as provincial intangible cultural heritage.

　　The 7 programs are Changyang Taoist Ritual Music protected by Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, Yiling Woodcut protected by Yiling District of Yichang City, Legends of Three Kingdoms protected by Dangyang City and Xiaoting District of Yichang City, Yuan’an Weeding Percussion protected by Yuan’an County, Yilin Ground Flower-Drum Opera protected by Yiling District of Yichang City, Fenxiang Shadow Play protected by Yiling District of Yichang City, and Jiandong Flower-Drum Opera protected by Zigui County.
