On November 11, 2013，Huang Chuping, Member of Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial Committee of CPC, Secretary of Yichang Municipal Committee of CPC , met with Zong Qinghou, Chairman and General Manager of Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co.,Ltd in Yichang.

　　Huang spoke highly of Zong for his being a far-sighted, organized and responsible enterpriser and extended his gratitude to Wahaha Group for its great contribution to Yichang\'s economy and society. Huang also introduced the status quo of Yichang megacity construction and expressed the hope that both sides could grasp opportunities to make further cooperation and play a leading role. He said that Yichang will follow the principle of "Giving Priority to Industry and Enterprisers"to provide first-class development environment to meet the standards of being top in China and integrating with the world, so as to offer the best service for Wahaha Group and other enterprises in Yichang.

　　Zong came to Yichang to attend the news conference of Wahaha Yichang Shopping Plaza project on November 12. He gave an introduction of Wahaha Group\'s development in Yichang and extended gratitude for the support given by Yichang Municiple Party Committe and Yichang Municiple Goverment. He expressed his confidence in Yichang megacity construction and said that Wahaha Yichang Shopping Plaza is to be a model project.

　　Wahaha Group has been in connection with Yichang long before. Since 1997, Wahaha has been answering the call of developing the western and central areas in China and of helping developingthe Three Gorges Area, and invested in Yichang. By the end of 2012, the operation revenue of Wahaha Group achieved 5.237 billion RMB and the tax of 396 million RMB was paid, maintaining a rapid development momentum. On August 29, 2012, the project of four sessions of serial drinking with an investment of 1 billion RMB came into operation in Yiling District.
