On November 15, experts from School of Mechanical Science and Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST) are employed as the science and technology consultant of Yidu Huayi Manufacturing Company. Previously, Huayi Company couldn’t master the technology to manufacture hydraulic power tools and failed to get help from experts at six different places. Later, on hearing that experts of School of Mechanical Science and Engineering in HUST master the technology, Lucheng Subdistrict Office on behalf of the company asked for support from them immediately.

　　Is this subdistrict office really that capable? Please refer to the following data: in 2012, the fiscal revenue of Lucheng Subdistrict Office is nearly one billion RMB; in 2013, the revenue will make enormous strides, much higher than general counties.

　　On October 21, the result of The Third Hubei Top 100 Small Townships Selection showed that Lucheng ranks the second. Comparing with the rank at 36th in 2011, Lucheng has made great progress.

　　“Lucheng is one of the economic backbones of Yidu City”, Mayor of Yidu City Luo Lianfeng said, “Its development attributes to the adjustment of thoughts.”

　　In recent years, Lucheng Subdistrict Office has helped top traditional enterprises to transform and upgrade as well as introduced top high-tech enterprises, which vigorously boosted Lucheng’s economy.

　　Among traditional enterprises, fruit washing and waxing machine developed by Xinfeng Electromechanical Company is on the list of state subsidies of agricultural machinery. The machines produced there are exported to Korea, Japan and other countries. Xingda Ceramics Company invested 30 million RMB for wear-resisting ceramics production line, whose products are mainly applied to aerospace, energy, industry, metallurgy and other industries. Huayang Chemical Company developed ultraviolet light absorber by cooperating with Fudan University, Wuhan University and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, filling up much domestic blank.

　　Among the introduced enterprises, Shenzhen Dongyangguang Group settled in Lucheng Town, setting up the world biggest erythromycin fermentation production base and the biggest formed foil production base in China. Yidu Xinhonghua Solar Energy Company invested 10 million RMB for 5 production lines, improving its productivity from 135 MW to 200 MW, annual output value to 300 million RMB. In the past 10 months in 2013, Lucheng has introduced 12 enterprises, signed agreements for 4 projects with an investment of over 100 million RMB, and introduced capital of 1.98 billion RMB.

　　At present, in Shilipu Industrial Park, 100 enterprises are above designated size, among which industries of fine chemicals, machinery equipment, new type of building materials and electronics have been the pillar ones, whose output value reaches 35 billion RMB, tax revenue are more than one billion RMB. Among the 42 enterprises above designated size, 12 are export-oriented enterprises, 6 have self-support export right. Products “Made in Lucheng” are exported to 16 countries and regions, creating 80 million U.S. dollars.
