“A Map” Mine Management Information System Put into Operation

  The “A Map” Mine Management Information Systems of seven counties, including Zigui County and Yuan’an County, were built and passed the acceptance check by the Municipal Bureau in the middle of November. From then on, in Yichang all mining rights formalities can be examined and approved through the “A Map” System.

  The system construction of the seven counties started from the beginning of last year. The first step was to build the county-level mining management data center where various of professional data including basic geography, geology, mineral resources’ planning, reserves, registration for mineral exploration and concession, geological disasters would be put into storage in accordance with technical standard. The second step was to set up county-level modern computer centers. According to the day-to-day operation procedure of mining rights examination and approval, in light of actual condition, each unit designed and developed E-examination and approval procedure. Furthermore, remote monitoring system of mine was also built. Underground mining, miners’ activities and equipments operation would be all under monitoring once the monitoring equipment is set up. Staff in Xingshan County further explored the remote monitoring function of the system that the output of mine could be monitored and the monitoring video underground could be seen through cell phone.

  It is learned that the functions, including data exchanges among three-level governments, remote supervision and record of examination and approval result, integrity management and remote monitoring of mine, are also implemented which meets the demand informatization of mine administration management.
