On November 21, a promotion meeting on the development of village clinics and construction of the contingent of rural doctors in Yichang City was held in Yiling District. Deputy Mayor Wang Guobin attended the meeting.

　　Later that afternoon, Wang went to Xiaoxita, Yiling District to visit the “Provincial Model Village Clinic” -- Guanzhuang Village Clinic and “Hubei Provincial Model Village Clinic” -- Cangwubang Village Clinic.

　　Wang said that all counties, county-level cities and districts should increase awareness of the urgency to develop village clinics and construct the contingent of rural doctors and strive to raise the quality of village clinics and rural doctors. Wang stressed that all counties, county-level cities and districts should combine the development of village clinics and construction of the contingent of rural doctors with the implementation of the spirit of the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC and the Third Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the CPC as well as the ongoing of the education and practice of the mass line, strengthen the development of village clinics and construction of the contingent of rural doctors and fully ensure the implementation of rural medical services, so as to promote the farmers’ well-being and speed up the building of a sound, harmonious and happy Yichang City.
