Hubei Daily News and Xinhua News Agency has described such scenes about Wujia township in Wujiagang District：Fitness equipments, public library, recreation room, counseling center are all available in the spacious and clean community; outside the community stand the soaring tower cranes and the growing tall buildings. In early December, the reporter visited this place and was deeply touched by the vicissitudes of the suburbs. "In the phase when Yichang suburban areas are undergoing great construction and fast development, many people flood in and change their identities from \'villager\' to \'citizen\' , brewing new challenges for the Party construction work." Long Huizhong, the party secretary of Wujia Township says. With the diversification of economic sectors, employments and distribution methods in the course of suburb transition from \'villages of acquaintances\' to \'communities of strangers\', people live and work with great autonomy, and correspondingly their reliance on Party organization is very much on the decline.”  Yu Feng, the head of Wujiagang district Organization Department, says that the role definitions of basic-level organizations and the working methods are challenged, so we need urgently to explore and build up a new effective mode of Party construction.

　　Based on the analysis of practical problems, Wujiagang district has made tentative efforts, via Yichang grid-based platform, to establish the "micro-organizations" which cover all communities and villages, extending the "tentacles" of the basic-level organizations to bridge "the last 10 meters" and realizing zero-distance service at the same time.

　　Soon, many "micro-organizations" mushroomed in villages and communities. Deeply rooted in communities and villages, those "micro-organizations" carried out "micro-services" from trivial things, fulfilling people\'s "micro-wishes," and weaving a "big network" uniting all the party members. Many capable people were attracted and invited by the "micro-organizations" and then became the "go-letters" who serve people actively and lead people to pave the way to wealth.

　　Cai Rumi, the general manager of Yichang Taifeng Grain and Oil Market Development Co.,Ltd. became the "first party secretary" of Gonglian village. Owing to his effort, Gonglian Trade Building Project, with a total investment of more than 400 million yuan, was formally signed, and it will yield tax revenue of 50 million yuan and offer thousands of jobs after putting into operation.

Zhang Peng, the Party secretary of Wujiagang district, says that the results of the Party suburban construction work must stand up the examination of public satisfaction at bottom; moreover, Party construction should shepherd all kinds of work, playing the role in fueling development, serving the people, and promoting harmony.
