Qinjiang ponkan which is a kind of mandarin in season also sold in large volume. At present, navel orange, ponkan and other mandarin sales on line are mostly in the form of pre-sale to guarantee the fresh taste of fruits when they are delivered to customers.

  "Yichang\'s agriculture product is full of local characteristics, making it possible to develop e-commerce market." said Zhang Mingyong, leader of Taobao Yichang pavilion. He introduced that experts sent by Taobao Headquarter in Hangzhou has visited Yichang\'s agricultural product market and thought highly of Tianxia caviar and other products last month.

  Preparation of Three Gorges Pavilion with Chinese Characteristics

  Up to now, the total number of certifications of agricultural products has reached 707, of which 510 are pollution-free products, 164 green food, 21 organic food and 12 agricultural products with geographical indications which ranked the first in Hubei Province.   "Relying on the rich agricultural resources, Yichang will build Three Gorges Pavilion with equal footing of Hubei Pavilion and Taiwan Pavilion," said Zhang. He explained that the upgraded agricultural industrialized platform will play the role of e-commerce center, providing opportunities for high-quality agricultural products in Three Gorgers area to enter Three Gorges Pavilion, and assuming the responsibility of training to suppliers on e-commerce knowledge .In the near future, more local and high-quality agricultural products will meet the needs of foodies in China.
