On June 4th, reporter learned from the Yichang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau that, after the start of the “Three Supports and One Assistance” Program of 2013 (support to education, agriculture, health care and assistance to poverty-alleviation), which is set up to recruit and select college graduates, over 600 graduates’ applications have been accepted, among which 426 have passed the preliminary examination. It is learned that since the implementation of the program, 1012 college graduates have been recruited in Yichang. “Three Supports and One Assistance” Program becomes an important channel in promoting employment of college graduates at communities.

　　It is informed that 662 college graduates’ applications have been accepted and 426 people have passed the preliminary examination in 2013. Among the 426 applicants, 40 applied for jobs about Agriculture, 50 about Health Care, 89 about Poverty-Alleviation, 85 about Youth Affairs, 2 about the Community Family Planning, 144 about Community Human Resources and Social Security and 16 about Community Water Conservancy. At present, the names of the qualified graduates have been published on the website of Human Resources and Social Security Bureau by Yichang Municipal “Three Supports and One Assistance” Office.

　　The qualified college graduates will go to Wuhan City in late June and communicate with representatives from communities to have a two-way selection. The staff of Yichang “Three Supports and One Assistance” Office and the Hubei provincial project supervisors will recheck the qualification of the graduates, and determine the person who is ready to be employed and input the information in the Hubei Provincial “Three Supports and One Assistance” management information system, according to the principle of "Priority goes to those who have bachelor degree or above in related majors, student leaders or CCP members, or those who have desire to come back to their original city". The employees will be organized by Hubei Provincial “Three Supports and One Assistance” Office to have a pre-job training course in July, then they will have a physical examination, and after the completion of the course, those who passed the physical examination will be provided with an offer.

　　Under the principle of open and fair competition on the basis of merits in the process of recruitment and selection, the Yichang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has well organized the application activity with clearly listed recruitment conditions and standardized procedure. Policies and treatment were implemented and the quality of recruitment was improved. Aiming at the target of “stay at community and do well in the work”, the Bureau has strengthened coordination, and standardized management and service, hence facilitating the development of “Three Supports and One Assistance” Program in Yichang.
