Yesterday, it’s learned from the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau that the Provincial Department of Finance and Provincial Department of Civil Affairs have distributed a total capital of 37.43 million RMB to Yichang for winter and spring famines to guarantee basic living of the victims, because Yichang suffered natural disasters one after another in 2012 like drought, flood, hailstorm and landslide, which had certain effect on people\'s life.

　　It is said that till June 8th, 2013, Yichang has collected relief funds of 37.43 million RMB from central and provincial governments, and has spent 1,243,000 RMB in facilities at the corresponding level and provided victims with 85,437 assistance cards, 31.4 million RMB in cash, 690,000 kilograms of rations and 20,000 pieces of clothing, helping 191,000 refugees. Among them, 162,000 people have benefited from ration aid, 23,000 from clothing aid, 1994 from medical aid, 3725 from heating aid, which have satisfied their basic life needs such as rations, clothing, heating, and so on.
