On the afternoon of June 14th, Yichang Municipal government convene a Leading Group Meeting on Vitalizing Yichang Through Quality, in which the leading group listened to reports on the progress of this work and discussed the subdivided plan on building “National Exemplary City of High Quality". Liu Jianxin, Vice Mayor of Yichang, attended the meeting.

　　It is informed that the “Exemplary City” campaign was launched last April and the key enterprises in such cities can have the chance to be fostered into China’s well-known brands. Last year, more 6 enterprises in Yichang were recognized as “Chinese Famous Trademark”, making the number of well-known trademarks and famous brands in Yichang ranking first in Hubei Province. But efforts still should be made in this year to ensure the qualification rate of product quality spot check higher than the provincial and national average levels, namely, to help one more enterprise get the Nomination for the Yangtze River Quality Prize in Hubei Province, the number of famous brands to be over 10 percent among all the famous brands in Hubei Province, and 2 trademarks to be identified as Chinese well-known trademarks,
