On December 26, the street light of the extension part of Wulong Avenue in Dianjun District drawing great attention was reported to debut to meet the long-distance running on New Year’s Day.

　　The Wulong Avenue\'s extension project is the key point of road construction in 2013 and is the initial point of New Year Day\'s long - distance running in 2014. As the first ecological road in the new district of Yichang, its extension was planted over 1600 valuable trees like osmanthus trees, camphor trees and so on along both sides. At present, the middle of road has been set the widest green isolation belt in the city whose widest point is 28 meters with 10 meters being the average width and 400 meters the length.

　　Wulong Avenue, as the starting point of Wulong Avenue\'s extension part project, running through Yichang south railway station and Fanba highway (from Zigui County to Yichang City), is a major infrastructure which expands urban framework and drives the development of Dianjun District. The Avenue was constructed along the hill, with two-way six lanes and asphalt concrete pavement. The first-stage project is 3800 meters long and the total investment of the whole project is 270 million Yuan.
