The Spring Festival is approaching, are the agricultural products safe in the markets? Yichang Municipal Government has been reported to issue a “Notification on Naming and Awarding of the First Batch of Standardized Model Bases of Agricultural Products in Yichang”.

　　Those awarded “the First Batch of Standardized Model Bases of Agricultural Products in Yichang” include 24 vegetable production bases (the Yaqueling Vegetable Production Base of Yichang Xirongyuan Ecological Agriculture co., Ltd etc.), 30 livestock and poultry breeding bases (the Dayan Farm of Yichang Zhengda Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd and etc.) and 20 aquaculture bases (the Anfusi Base of Yichang Sanjiang Fisheries Co., Ltd and etc.).

　　In recent years, promoted by activities of all around creating standardized model bases of agricultural products in Yichang, intensive exploration of a long-term mechanism for monitoring the quality and safety of agricultural products, there has emerged a batch of agricultural production enterprises with advanced level of production standardization, safe and reliable product quality, specialized farmer cooperatives, and large growers and culturists.
