On January 20, according to Brand Advertising Supervision and Management Office of Hubei Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau, news came that SAIC (State Administration for Industry and Commerce) newly certified a group of well-known trademarks, among which 6 come from Yichang.

　　It is reported that among these new trademarks, the Trademark Office identified "Tulaohan and its image", "Temiao", "Huoshaoping and its image" as well-known trademarks. The Trademark Appraisal Committee certified “Fubon”, “Monkey and its image” and “Only Long and its image” as well-known trademarks.

　　Industry and Commerce Department said that Yichang’s dominant brands development forms a cluster trend: in the terms of industry brand, there are 6 well-known trademarks in chemical industry, 18 well-known trademarks in food industry and 11 well-known trademarks in emerging industries including biological medicine, new materials, new energy, electronic information and energy saving; in the terms of enterprise brand, Daohuaxiang Group has 4 well-known trademarks; Angel Yeast has 2 well-known trademarks; Tulaohan Group has two well-known trademarks; in the terms of regional brands, Yichang has registered 17 GIs(Geographical Indications) and 3 collective trademarks. The enrichment effect of trademarks is remarkable.
