It was learned from the 26th executive meeting of Municipal Government on Jan. 17 that “Grid Management” will be fully implemented in Gezhouba area this year.

　　Gezhouba area covers 9.6 sq.km, 3 residential districts (Xiba, Gezhouba, and Yemingzhu) and 28 communities. It mainly serves the staffs and their family members of Gezhouba (Group) Corporation and other enterprises. In recent years, the pilot work of innovation in community service management was affirmed fully by the CPC Central Committee, Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Hubei Provincial Government. Now, it is the time to fully implement “Grid Management” in Gezhouba area.

　　According to the principle of “Draw Boundaries to Alleys, Moderate Scale, Seamless Coverage and Dynamic Regulation”, the Gezhouba area will be divided into 218 community grids under the current administrative division. Meanwhile, “Three Stains”, including Convenient Service Station, Station to Maintain Social Stability and Grid Management Station”, will be set up. The existing 182 public welfare posts will be fully integrated, and in compliance with “One Grid, One Staff”, the grid administrator team will be organized. The enterprise type communities which implemented grid management will still be operated under the current community system before the social function is transferred to local government.
