On February 7, it was learned from Yichang Municipal Development and Reform Commission that, China Three Gorges Qu Yuan Culture Ecotourism Industrial Park, applied by Zigui County, was officially approved as the second batch of Hubei Provincial Modern Service Industry Demonstration Zone. Thus capital and policy support will be provided in building the park.

　　The Park is designed to build in Maoping Town, Zigui County, south to the Three Gorges Dam. The park covers an area of 1.74 square kilometers, including the entrance of the Zigui Auxiliary Dam, Fenghuang Mountain, Guizhou Street, Xujiachong Harbor, Muyu Island, Zigui Port, Fanba Logistics Park and other areas along the Yangtze River, among which the water surface area occupies 0.84 square kilometers .The construction project mainly contains tourist service area, Fenghuang Mountain Qu Yuan Cultural District , Jing Chu culture living area, Pinghu water amusement area , Muyu leisure region , lakeside community and landscape belt. Through the integration of culture, landscape, environment, commerce, logistics, creativity and other elements, the Park will be a national cultural tourism site with unique geographical characteristics, fully commercial atmosphere and promising international tourism.
