April 7th is the last day of Tomb Sweeping Day holiday. According to statistics from Yichang East Railway Station, Yichang Passenger Transportation Center, Yichang Coach Station and Three Gorges Airport, 145,000 passengers are safely transported during the three days and the passengers in Yichang mainly head for Wuhan, Shennongjia, Zhangjiajie, Lichuan, etc.. Considering the duty to offer transportation services for passengers’ safe, convenient and comfortable travel during Tomb Sweeping Day, all the staffs behind the ticket windows stand their ground to ensure transport safety and provide quality services. "From the first day of Tomb Sweeping Day, it was so hard for passengers to buy a ticket of Yichang-Hankou line from Yichang East Railway Station that all the tickets were sold out at 19:00 on April 7th" said a staff from Yichang East Railway Station. It is also known that 95,000 passengers are set out from Yichang East Railway Station, a 20% increase over last year. They mainly take the lines of Yichang to Hankou, Yichang to Enshi ( Lichuan ), and Yichang to Jishou ( Zhangjiajie ) .

　　Reporters learned from Yichang Passenger Transportation Center that 40,000 passengers are transported via Yichang Passenger Transportation Center and Yichang Coach Station during the three days, and the majority goes to the surrounding counties. The stations have prepared enough long distance coaches to meet passengers’ need of timely transportation and the number of additional temporary coaches in 3 days has reached 20, which are mainly assigned to the lines to Wuhan, Muyu and Wufeng.

　　According to Yichang Three Gorges Airport, since the weather was fine during the Tomb Sweeping Day, all the planes took off and landed normally, with 94 flights in and out of the airport, an increase of 30% than that of the previous year, and 9800 expected passenger throughput, an increase of 8%. On April 5th and 7th, the airport saw the passenger flow peak and the number of foreign visitors from Beijing, Shanghai and other places significantly increased. Although a three-day holiday is short, there are a great deal of well-off people choosing to fly to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Kunming, Sanya and other popular tourist destinations.
