On April 11, Hubei Provincial Government hold a video and telephone conference about prospering the province by improving quality and the 5th Yangtze River Quality Award presentation. The MBEC and other 3 companies were awarded the 5th Yangtze River Quality Award, the prize money is 1 million yuan. Hubei Daohuaxiang Wine Industry Co., Ltd and other 3 enterprises got the nomination prize, the prize money is 500000 yuan. The deputy mayor Liu Jianxin made a speech at the Yichang session.

　　The meeting informed the quality inspection work of Hubei Province in 2013, Yichang got A level in the assessment. The meeting also deployed the strategies of prospering the province by improving quality. It was pointed out that the strategies promoted the social and economic development of Hubei Province. One of the strategies is to commend the Yangtze River Quality Award recipients. All parties should strengthen the process control, strictly enforce the law, regulate the market order, speed up the construction of quality and credit system, improve quality and credit system and promote leap-forward development with high quality.

　　Established in September 2009, the Yangtze River Quality Award is the highest quality honor award of the provincial government. It’s a successful world-level enterprises management mode according to the Criteria for Performance Excellence of the Baldrige Award in the United States. The Yangtze River Quality Award is customer-oriented and pursue excellent operating performance. It’s touted as the passport for enterprises to China or even to the world. Before then, Angel Yeast Co., Ltd won the nomination of the 2nd Yangtze River Quality Award as well as the 3rd Yangtze River Quality Award. Hubei Xingfa Chemical Group Co., Ltd got the nomination of the 4th Yangtze River Quality Award.

The production volume of 6 products rank 1st in the world, 2 rank 1st in Asia and 11 rank 1st in China. “Made in Yichang” covers 147 countries and regions. Meanwhile, Yichang is actively launching the establishment of the demonstrative city for national tourism standardization, the pilot city for national urban comprehensive service standardization, the demonstrative city for national e-commerce and the demonstrative city for benefaction to people by information.
