On April 28th, Wuhan & Wufeng investment promotion activities were held in Wuchang, Wuhan, attracting about 600 entrepreneurs and guests from home and abroad. 10 projects was signed on site and the agreed investment amount exceeded 1 billion RMB, of which 240 million RMB will be invested in building modern organic and ecological park of agriculture and forestry by Yidu Ketai Biological Engineering Co., Ltd and 100 million RMB will be invested in developing the special fibers by Wuhan Friendway Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. During that time, Wuhan was full of the friendly atmosphere and exhibited the charm of the Tujia ethnic minority.

    Leaders of different departments attended the signing ceremony, including Tan Huizai, Chairman of the Provincial People\'s Congress Foreign Affairs Committee of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Li Zuoqing, Deputy Secretary-general of Wuhan Municipal Government and Director of Wuhan Municipal Commercial Bureau, Xiong Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of Yichang Municipal Party Committee and Chen Hua, Secretary of Autonomous County Committee of Wufeng Tujia Ethic Minority. Lv Xuefeng, Chief of Wufeng Tujia Ethnic Minority County hosted meeting.

Li indicated that Wuhan will further support the development of Wufeng and enhance the cooperation between them. He called upon all entrepreneurs that they should visit, understand and invest in Wufeng, and purchase more agricultural and sideline products from Wufeng, especially the commercial enterprises. Besides, they should sincerely concern about Wufeng and help Wufeng realize the common development with Wuhan.

Tan highly appraised Wufeng’s development in recent years. He thought that it seized the opportunities of migration and relocation and went outside to explore the “enclave economy” mode, which not only accelerated its leaping development but also provided the case and example for the economic development of the minority areas. He said that the promotion activity is a friendly gesture of Wuhan who assisted the economic and cultural development of Wufeng and it’s also a creative move taken by Wufeng who went out from mountains and attracted investment. Those measures must be able to promote the transformed, sustainable, green and rapid development in the area.

　    On behalf of the Yichang Municipal Committee and Government, Xiong appreciated all provincial departments, Wuhan and all sectors of the society for their great support.  Choosing Wufeng means development and investing in Wufeng means investing in the future, he said. He promised that Wufeng will provide the good administrative services, low comprehensive costs and high efficient economical environment for entrepreneurs. He hoped that the Wuhan’s entrepreneurs can integrate their capital and brands with Wufeng’s resources and market and cooperate hand in hand to realize the win-win development.

　   Before the promotion activity of investment, Caihua, Baiyichun and other tea companies made a presentation. They invited guests to appreciate the show with full local customs of the Tujia ethnic minority like “Wufeng’s Dancing with Benches”, “A Countryside Girl”, “Hagezha” and so on and they watched the propaganda film of attracting investment, called “leaping development with passion and beautiful Wufeng”
