　　The long queue at the gate of the zoo suggests how much Yichang citizens like panda "Hope"!

　　May 1st was the first day for Yichang citizens to meet the panda "Hope". On that day people queued quite early in front of ticket office. At 9:30 am, the reporter saw that people had lined up one hundred meters away, and the number of visitors was still increasing. The staff there said that visitors started queuing at 8:00. It seemed that on May Day, many people got up early just to see the panda "Hope"!

　　Entering into the zoo, you would see that "Panda House" was surrounded. Everyone held up their mobile phones, cameras, tablet PC to take pictures!

　　"Look! He is acting cute again!" A female citizen excitedly greeted her friend: "Come on! Take a picture!" The reporter finally occupied a front position to witness the giant panda. It turned out that after the play on the slide, the giant panda’s ass seemed a bit uncomfortable and he started rubbing on the boulder near the pool. His funny looks made people laugh heartily.

　　The mood of panda "Hope" wasn’t influenced by the large number of visitors outside the glass wall. In one moment he played on the slide and circles for a while. In another he rubbed on the boulder for a while and next looked up and down the crowd.

　　Although a lot of people were visiting the panda, the reporters found that tourists were all in right order; no one deliberately irritated the panda and threw rubbish.

　　In front of the panel near the Panda House, a father said to his 4-year-old daughter: "Look, how beautiful the panda’s black eyes are!" But the girl was worried and said: "It definitely did not sleep well for several days!" Then, she asked her father to take her away soon so as not to bother the panda.

　　At 11:00, there was still a long queue in front of the zoo gate. Seeing the reporter coming out, a lady with 3 children came to inquire about the giant panda. She told the reporter that she specially took the kids from Yidu and lined up more than 10 minutes. Hearing that pandas like sleeping, they were worried about not seeing the panda. After the seeing the panda’s photos showed by the reporter , she exclaimed: "Awesome! We will wait no matter how long the queue is".  The kids beside her were also excited.

　　Statistics given by the Administrative Office of the Children’s Park show that up to 17:30, more than 1,3000 people have visited the giant panda "Hope". Facing tens of thousands of "fans", the panda is very calm and adaptable to the life in Yichang. The giant panda "Hope" will spend the May Day vacation together with visitors there.
