On May 18th, 50 Black-winged Stilts (Himantopus himantopus) stayed by the riverside of Quyuan Town, Zigui County as a break during their fly. It is said that the Black-winged Stilt lives chiefly in the west of Xinjiang Province, the east Qinghai Province and the northwest of Inner Mongolia. It has been classified as “least concern ver3.1” in the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) Red List of Threatened Species. (Reporter: Li Feng)
