On 23rd, reporters learned that the network interactivity "2014 Chinese City Rankings---Most Recommended Chinese Cuisine City in Netizens’ Eyes" officially announced 20 candidate cities, and Yichang is among them.

　　This activity is guided by the National Internet Information Office and Ministry of Culture, supported by China Cuisine Association, sponsored by CRI Online. 20 cities are nominated including Chongqing, Hulun Buir, Yanbian, Yichang, Foshan, Sanming, Taiyuan, Ningbo, Suzhou, Chaozhou, Quanzhou, Shaoxing, Baoji, Huangshan, Zibo, Qufu, Lanzhou, Yibin, Changsha and Kaifeng.

The online voting will be closed on July 31st.
