On the morning of June 10, Gan Rongkun, the vice governor of Hubei Province, visited Xiaoting district and Wufeng National Industrial Park, inspecting the export-oriented economy development in Yichang. He proposed that Yichang should adhere to the "open pilot" strategy, and actively join together with Shanghai FTA to further develop export-oriented economy. City leaders including Ma Xuming, Yuan Weidong, and Wang Rong accompanied.

　　Yichang foreign trade economy has been developing rapidly, which ranks forefront in Hubei Province. Yichang Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center, under the construction currently and with an investment of 330 million yuan, covers an area of 300 mu, including five warehouses and a joint inspection building. Gan Rongkun suggested that Yichang should focus on export-oriented economy and learn from Shanghai FTA to optimize the development environment. He also proposed that the export-oriented economy should be combined with e-commerce to highlight the investment target. Additionally, taking advantage of its position and basing on Yichang Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center, Yichang should accelerate open carrier and platform construction.

　　At Wufeng National Industrial Park, Gan listened to reports given by Wufeng Tujia Nationality Autonomous County, Wufeng County Government and Hubei Nice Co., Ltd. He concluded that, as a typical mountainous ethnic minority area, an old revolutionary base area and a destitute area, Wufeng was exploring "enclave economy" with characteristic industries, such a new development experience was worth affirming.

　　Gan stressed that, we should pay equal attention to “inbound” and “outbound” economic activity ,enlarge and strengthen the existing industries to enhance the international level. As demonstration effect, the existing enterprises should solve key problems like financing and customs clearance. Provincial departments should carefully plan investment attraction and smooth clearance channels so as to provide personalized services to enterprises.
