On June 11, according to the official website of the China Railway Corporation, from 0:00 on July 1, a new train diagram will be initiated around the country. In the new diagram, for the first time the bullet trains from Chengdu and Chongqing will be set up to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Fuzhou and Wuhan, and Yichang East Railway Station will be a stop of them. As an important station on the Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu high-speed railway, Yichang will send 16 trains to Chengdu and Chongqing, among which the Yichang East Railway Station will send D2265, the first train to Chongqing North Railway Station.

　　It is learnt that three diagrams will be implemented, classified as daily, weekend and peak. The transport capacity arrangement is more scientific, and the train timetable is more convenient for the passengers. The detail arrangement includes one train starts from Yichang: D2265 from Yichang East Railway Station to Chongqing North Railway Station; 15 trains stops at Yichang: D2206 and D626 from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Chengdu East, D2259 from Hankou Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station, D2255 from Nanjing South Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station, D2222 from Hangzhou Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station,D2242 from Fuzhou Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station, D2236 from Nanchang West Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station, D2201 from Zhengzhou Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station, D366 from Wuhan Railway Station to Chengdu East Railway Station, D2216  form Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to Chongqing North Railway Station, D2276 from Wuhan Railway Station to Chongqing North Railway Station, D2226 from Fuzhou Railway Station to Chongqing North Railway Station, D2232 from Chongqing North Railway Station to Xiamen North Railway Station, D2271 and D2251 form Hankou Railway Station to Chongqing North Railway Station.

　　So far, the fastest train from Yichang to Chongqing takes 5 hours and 46 minutes, and the slowest train requires 14 hours; the fastest train from Yichang to Chengdu takes 8 hours and 45 minutes, while the slowest takes 14 hours and 40 minutes. When the bullet train starts in July, it is expected to take only 4 hours and 30 minutes from Yichang to Chongqing, and six and a half hours to Chengdu, making it more convenient for people in Yichang to go to the two places.

　　It is learnt that the first-class seat costs 195 RMB yuan from Yichang to Chongqing North Raiway Station, and 162 RMB yuan for the second seat. And the first-class seat costs 311 RMB yuan from Yichang to Chengdu East Raiway Station, and 258.5 RMB yuan for the second seat. Since it has not yet entered the ticket pre-sale period, it is not available from online ticketing now.

　　Railway authorities warn that as the summer vacation is approaching, the railway tourism market is beginning to heat. The implementation of the new train diagram will bring some changes to the timetable, especially after July 1. Some trains need to change the time to depart due to the changes, so passages should pay attention to the station announcements, or call the customer service phone (12036) to know the changes, so as not to miss the train.
