On the evening of June 15, being co-sponsored by the CCTV Chinese International Channel and Yichang City, the taping of the “Falling in Love with Yichang” column of the serial program of “Our Chinese Heart - Music Section” in the No.1 Studio Hall of the CCTV new building was very successful. The show was hosted by Ji Xiaojun and Xiaoyan - the famous hosts of CCTV and the hall was full of people. At 19:30 P.M that day, Yan Dangdang, singer of the Political department of PLAAF, started the show with a song named “I lived at the bank of the Yangtze River”.

　　After nearly half year of planning by Yichang Municipal Propaganda Department, Travel and Tourism Administration, Municipal Literature and Art Association and CCTV Chinese International Channel, the activity aims at introducing Yichang, improving the urban taste and image, and promoting the sound development of Yichang’s culture and travel. It has three parts including ‘falling in love with your aesthetic spirit’, ‘falling in love with your Three Gorges’ and ‘falling in love with your romance’, which is in the theme of ‘falling in love with Yichang’. It regards the Love Letters as the main clue and is integrating the poetry with songs. The main contents of the album consist of a series of original songs showing the landscape, cultural customs and historical culture. The original songs which won the national and provincial ‘Five Top Projects’ awards in the past year such as the Three Gorges Children Love the Three Gorges, Three Gorges Which is My Hometown, 18 Turns of the Mountain Roads and so on, and the recent songs which are influential nationwide such as Wang Zhaojun Returns to Hometown, Three Gorges Love, Falling in Love with Yichang and so on were showed in this activity. The excellent show was performed by Jiang Dawei, Yang Hongji, Wulan Tuya, Chen Lili, Bai Xue, Anyu Qibin, Li Qion, Ding Xiaohong, Huang Wei, Wan Li, and Chen Juan and so on.
