At 7 PM on June 12, Li Ping, the chairman of Kyland Technology Co., Ltd, signed investment agreement with Yang Meiren, the director of Yichang High-tech Zone Administrative Committee. With a total investment of 400 million yuan, the Project of Ethernet (Yichang) Science and Technology Industrial Park officially settled in the Electronic Information Industrial Park in Yichang High-tech Zone. Kyland Technology Co., Ltd is the first high-tech enterprise that settled in the park.
The project covers a total area of 200 mu (0.133333km2). An Industrial Park of Industrial Communication Networks Products that embraces research and development, testing, training, manufacturing, warehousing and necessary caaessories will be constructed in this area. The 1st phase investment of 300 million yuan will take 12 months of construction. The construction of 2 phases will be completed within 3 years. After the project is put into production, the annual sales revenue will reach 1 billion yuan and the annual tax will be 100 million yuan.
The signing ceremony was less than 3 minutes, with no flowers, no red carpets and no speeches. Li Ping introduced that the industrial Ethernet switch, which is a kind of network communication equipment used switch and data transmission technology of Ethernet, is applied in the industrial environment.
Yang Meiren, the director of the Yichang High-tech Zone Administrative Committee, said the project will fill the blank in the field of industrial control communication in Yichang and it will become the milestone for the development of the electronic information industry in the high-tech zone. They will accelerate efforts to promote the project, improve the park infrastructure facilities to attract more projects.
