  On June 29, it is learned from the Municipal Bureau of Parks and Gardens that the eastern valley scenic area of Moji Hill Park will be opened to the public on July 1st. A mountaineering activity called “Happy Yichang, Walk with Ecology” will be held in the square of Moji Hill Park at 9 AM on July 1st. Welcome citizens to participate in the mountaineering.

  It is introduced that the construction of the eastern valley scenic area started in last November. It covers 80 thousand square meters and includes entrance platform, 3 garden paths, 6 valley terraces, 2 steel structured pedestrian Bridges, pedestrian box culverts and colorful forests.

  Green has dominated Moji Hill for many years. Moji Hill can be called the “Green City Landmark” of Yichang. While during the transformation, many trees of different colors and different types have been planted on the hill, which is in line with the main colors of the planed city. Meanwhile, on the basis of the original ecological environment, trees were planted according to the natural trend of the hill. Trees, shrubs, evergreen plants and deciduous plants were matched together to form a colorful landscape with distinct seasons, rich layers and picturesque disorder.
